Story

Two Harkonnen sisters battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and have found the legendary sect that has become known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. This series uses material from Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s Great Schools of Dune trilogy. A prequel to the original Dune, which tells the story of how Sister Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit.

The incident with Valya Harkonnen, using the voice, is taken from “Mentats of Dune”. All three books weave together the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. The new HBO original series, Dune: Prophecy, is a prequel to Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel Dune. However, the series is based on the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

It centers around the Sisterhood – the origins of the Bene Gesserit, set 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides. Part 1: The Hidden Hand is a sci-fi fantasy drama with stunning special effects and stunning sets. The episode introduces Valya Harkonnen (Emily Watson) and how she becomes the leader of the Sisterhood. Valya trains young women to tell the truth, through rigorous physical and mental conditioning to develop their supernatural abilities. They believe that power – the power of humanity and lies – is the greatest weapon a person can wield.

A power struggle begins between the sisters

Tula uses the Force to lead, but Valya uses it to lead. Meanwhile, Emperor Javicco Corrino (Mark Strong) is entrusted with the peaceful rule of the Empire, but he faces his own struggles to maintain power and control, and reluctantly decides to let go of the young son (literally his child) of Prince Ferdinand Richese (Brendan Cowell) to marry his daughter, Princess Ynez (Sarah-Sofie Boussnina), in order to form an alliance in case she becomes heir to the throne of the Golden Lion. Things escalate as Princess Ynez is influenced by her egocentric brother, Constantine Corrino (Josh Heuston), and her desire for control over the swordsman Kieran Atreides. Amidst the chaos, a mysterious soldier, Desmond Hart (Travis Fimmel), eases his way into the Empire with the intention of gaining the trust of Emperor Javicco Corrino. It was very exciting to watch the trailer for the first episode of Dune: Prophecy on screen.
