Story
A generational story about families and the special place they inhabit, love, loss, laughter, and sharing life.. It was first published as a column in the comic magazine "Raw" in 1989, and expanded into a 300-page graphic novel in 2014.. At one point in the film, Richard’s father names several towns that he claims are along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, when in fact all of these towns are along Interstate 80 in PA, which had not been built at the time..

1 and 2 written by Artie Shaw This is not a film for everyone
It tries something different with a single-focus camera angle and a story that takes place over hundreds (or millions) of years. But that’s part of the problem that prevents it from being great. Most scenes last 1-5 minutes before jumping to the next scene, and we get a little bit of time with each episode.
It’s a bit over the top for how much stuff happens in one space
It takes a while to move on before we get to the heart of the story. If it had focused a little more on our main cast of characters, the ending could have had a much bigger impact. The CGI was a bit too much, and the focus on getting the characters into the camera for the scenes felt a little forced.
