I see De Oliveira as a broken woman with a burning rage who won’t give up, and thank you, thank you, thank you to the writers/directors/producers for NOT letting her get the best of her fellow soldier with an extra hundred pounds. I think her character is much more interesting if she’s the kind of person who needs to be knocked out or simply defeated on the ground before she leaves. Now let’s talk about Jill Wagner, or better say about her hair? What a face! From sentimental Hallmark nonsense to super cool special forces? I buy it.

Lanier as the obnoxious teenage daughter. I look forward to the arc planned for this loose cannon as long as they continue to stay away from the cliche of teenage angst. Good actor, it could be interesting…
