It tells the story of three very different families who struggle to buy a 1920s Spanish-style villa, thinking it will solve all their problems. Big names like that tend to get a little carried away when they star in a Netflix limited series. But this cast really nailed it and felt like they hit the mark. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a chemistry that is perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini do a character like this. Great pacing, appropriate tension, lots of comic relief. For once, I wasn’t expecting a twist ending and every plot point seemed to be resolved by the last episode. I really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new, busy world of streaming.
