Story
The world’s most famous superhero and comic book journalist navigate the pressures and complexities of balancing work, law, and parenthood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to Action Comics #1 (Superman’s debut) by featuring the Golden Age hero’s original costume for the first time in real life. The famous green car from the cover is also shown.

Superman flies over the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are set up on Kent Farm. .
We finished Season 3 a few days ago and were very disappointed
I would give Season 1 and 2 a 9 out of 10, but Season 3 is only a 4 out of 10. The cancer storyline dominated the entire season, which was applauded by some but made unwatchable by others. There are a few scenes in each episode where all they talk about is cancer, and in some episodes you don’t even see Superman, or when you do, it’s fleeting.
What a difference!
We watched it anyway and were happy when Lex Luthor showed up at the end of the series, and he looked like Superman again. We finished season 3 and immediately went back to the beginning of season 1. Season 1 is so good; the action is great, the effects are superb, and the acting is excellent.
It’s like a completely different show
We really hope the old Superman and Lois return in season 4. For a family that has had to deal with cancer (like most), season 3 didn’t feel like Superman to me. It was very depressing at times and wasn’t the escape from the “real world” we needed after a hard day at the office.
